The design of the mural was informed by the Five Demands of a Green New Deal

- Promote Global Justice
- Jobs and a Just Transition
- Protect and Restore
The creative process was headed by Ellen, who collaborated with other volunteer members of GNDR and an illustrator.
With a team of volunteers, the mural quickly came to life over two days, with thanks to the support of the PRSC.
