Climate Convos and Crafts began during Ellen’s MA as they were looking for ways to integrate both creativity and climate, unknowingly creating the foundations on which The Sol Projects would be built.

The content of the workshop invites participants to collage with paper whilst discussing their thoughts and feelings about the climate crisis. The workshop provides a relaxed and informal environment for participants that eases conversation and welcomes input from all angles. The creative aspect of the workshop supports participants by providing a physical outlet for thoughts to become tangible artefacts that are both a product of the conversation and facilitator of it. 

Since graduating Ellen has returned to UWE to work with the Student Union to continue running these sessions.
